Shigatse Tingri Airport is located at the junction of Meimu Village and Gangga Town, Zhaguo Township,
Dingri County, Shigatse City, Tibet Autonomous Region, China. It is about 33 kilometers east of Tingri
County and 52 kilometers away from the nearest point of the national border (Everest Base Camp). , is
a high plateau airport. In 2018, the site of Shigatse Tingri Airport was approved; on April 30, 2021,
construction of Shigatse Tingri Airport officially started; in November 2022, the test flight of Shigatse
Tingri Airport was successful; on December 24, 2022, Shigatse Tingri Airport officially Navigable.
