Overview

This product is a service-road lighting luminaire for the airfield area. It is suitable for service roads within the airfield area of civil transport airports and may be used as fixed road lighting: fixed units are arranged continuously on one or both sides of the perimeter road (patrol road), the fire-fighting access road and the service road around the apron in the manner of road lighting. At night and in low visibility conditions it provides road lighting for surface movement and emergency operations in the airfield area, giving vehicle drivers, apron controllers and maintenance, fire-fighting and patrol personnel the alignment of the roadway and the pavement boundaries, the movement of vehicles and personnel, and the position of surrounding obstacles and pavement markings — helping them judge the route to be followed and the need to give way. The luminaires use high-efficacy LED light sources with a batwing light distribution. The product complies with ICAO Annex 14 and Doc 9157 part 4.

Features

• Luminous flux of the luminaire up to 150,000 lm, luminous efficacy ≥150 lm/W, Ra > 70; colour temperature selectable at 3500 K and 4000 K.
• IP66 for the complete luminaire; input voltage 100–277 V; PF ≥ 0.95, Eff ≥ 0.92 ， high efficiency with low power consumption from the grid.
• THD ≤ 10% at full load; low radiated interference — no effect on other equipment in the near field and no interference with apron low-voltage systems or guidance equipment.
• Batwing light distribution; lens transmittance up to 88% or above; UV-resistant lens.
• The luminaire is rated for 10 kV surge capability, effectively blocking lightning-induced energy and extending luminaire service life.
• Optional dimming and non-dimming versions available.
